Lets take a quick look at the Search & Rescue Series for 2009.
Top to Bottom:
Escort
Lil' Chute
Smoke Jumper
Bravo-2
Bravo-1
Gunny
We all have talked about a B-3 as an addition.
I like the way this series is shaping up.
We also Talked about an Escort II (Replacing the 5 inch blade Sandstorm)
Is there some other direction we should be looking on these ?

Just my two cents. I could easily see an upsized Bumble Bee shape to fit in below the Gunny. Maybe with a 3.25" or 3.5" blade.
Love my Bumble Bee. Stout little monster
Perhaps call it The Bravo Bee

What are the proposed specs on the B-3? Sounds like a possible monster blade!
I already have the Gunny, B-1, and B-2, so the B-3 would likely be a given for me.

Yes! I'm definitely interested in the Escort II.
I think a light-in-the-hand 5 inch blade would fit into the series nicely. Especially as a counterpoint to the beefy Bravo-1.
Still thinking of a mortis tang if you do it Mike?

C,
The B-3 would be a minimum of a 9 inch broad Blade with the same handle configuation as the B-2.
Travis--Yes on the Mortise Tang Escort II.
I just have to get it on paper.

Nice line up Mike. I think that is the best in the business.
Most will like the small blades, but you know me .... I'll be all over the B3.
You have it covered pretty well IMO.

Mike,
Would you ever consider making some sort of camp saw (folding or fixed) ??

We would have to have a Saw made.
I'm not set up to make one.
Truthfully I'm not a Saw kind of Guy in the field.
I know that they are very very popular but I have never warmed up to the idea.
I'm more of a Chopper , Slasher and Basher type.
